Ocean Park Hong Kong stands as the city's largest nature classroom, with a rich legacy of education dating back to the early 1990s and a dedicated team of professional educators. Through our animal ambassadors and unique setting, we craft fun, inspiring and memorable experiences that ignite curiosity in biodiversity, enrich understanding, and nurture harmony between human and nature.

Drawing on decades of experience, we deliver a wide array of education programmes and resources both within Ocean Park and beyond, tailored through multiple approaches to maximise our impact and captivate diverse audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Our initiatives touch hundreds of thousands of participants a year, radiating impact far beyond Hong Kong.

Mission R

Ocean Park unites visitors, schools, communities and businesses alongside the Government and diverse organisations to champion Mission R, a dynamic call to action for nature conservation. This initiative was inspired by the global 'Reverse the Red' campaign from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), which advocates proactive efforts to reverse species decline and foster worldwide collaboration in safeguarding biodiversity.

Mission R rallies our community to transform awareness into action, inspiring all to shape a thriving, sustainable future. It stands on 3 core pillars:

Saving Species and Habitats

Eat Local

Plastic Challenge
