'No Straw' Campaign
The habit of using a plastic straw every time you consume a cold beverage has a huge negative impact on countless marine mammals. Furthermore, contaminants in plastic litter enter our food chain, ultimately damaging our health. Plastic straws are one of the top ten contributors to marine debris.
Ocean Park Hong Kong has always been showing great support to reduce plastic waste and impact to the environment. Since 2010, the Park stop giving out drinking straws unless upon request. This applies to all food kiosks, restaurants and staff canteens.
