Ocean Park Corporation (hereinafter “the Park”) is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for our staff and guests. We strive to ensure that the Park is, as far as reasonably practicable, free from known and hidden dangers or hazards. It is also our policy to comply with all applicable legal statutes and regulations, and to adopt the best industry’s practices and international standards in health and safety for the Park.
In Ocean Park, health and safety are everyone’s responsibilities. The top priority of managers and supervisors is to prevent the occurrence of accidents and injuries. They are responsible for cascading safety rules and procedures to employees through training and education; and maintaining equipment and facilities in safe condition.
Employees have the responsibility to protect their own health and safety as well as others from injuries. They should also cooperate with their superior, follow the necessary safety precautions and procedures, and familiarize with the safe execution of their duties.
This Policy is supported by a supplementary document which sets out the roles, responsibilities and obligations of employees at different areas. Health and safety organizations and procedures for implementing this Policy are also described in the supplementary document.
This Health and Safety Policy is important for the Park. Its successful implementation enables all employees to maintain strong safety awareness, sustains safety performance and brings benefits to the Park, staff and our guests.
This policy would be reviewed periodically to keep pace with the evolving needs of the Park.
