Ocean Park Corporation warmly welcomes and pledges its full support for Hong Kong’s First Five-Year Plan, and the 2026 Policy Address announced today by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Solidifying Hong Kong as a world-class conservation and education base

Drawing on the team’s expertise in respective areas, Ocean Park fully commits to implementing national and local biodiversity strategies. Guided by a science-based approach and a twin-track strategy encompassing in-situ and ex-situ conservation, the Park advances initiatives for habitat and wildlife protection, species breeding, and scientific research collaborations, while supporting the Government in animal rescue and rehabilitation. Simultaneously, through its flagship education initiative—the Seahorse Rangers—alongside a diverse array of on-site and off-site educational activities, the Park is dedicated to nurturing the next generations to safeguard the ecosystem.

Spearheading giant panda and wildlife conservation initiatives

The Park will deepen exchanges and scientific research collaboration with national and international professionals in giant panda husbandry, breeding, and habitat protection. By harnessing immersive experiences and diverse educational media, the Park will keep locals and tourists closely connected with Hong Kong’s six giant pandas, thereby heightening public awareness of endangered species and global biodiversity conservation.

Delivering brand-new, immersive experiences

Ocean Park will continuously enhance its in-park experiences and facilities. Notably, the highly anticipated brand-new Adventure Zone is slated to open its doors in 2028, offering the city an exhilarating, nature-integrated experiential adventure.
